#RPGaDay2024: Day 31: Last Day. Gamer you miss? One of my best friends passed away 10 years ago, at the age of 48. We discovered D&D at the same time, back in 1978, and had last rolled dice together just 3 days before he died. RIP RBS.

#RPGaDay2024: Day 22: NPCs? I've ran too many memorable NPCs to count. I find that great, memorable NPCs may begin with the DM, but its the players who really breathe life into them. An NPC is only interesting if the characters engage with them.

#RPGaDay2024 Notable non-player character - I have a reputation as a GM for voicing very funny brownies and fairies. We still talk about Venti, a Summer Court fairy addicted to Starbucks, from a Dresden Files campaign. I had to voice her hyped up on caffeine and breathing helium.

#RPGaDay2024: Day 28: Great Gamer Gadget? I don't use a lot of gadgets when I play. A laptop and iphone, I guess. Roll20 for dice rolling and sharing docs. The only gadget you really need is your brain and an imagination. That's what make RPGs sing.

#RPGaDay2024: Day 19: Session? For me, the perfect session falls between 4-6 hrs & is in person. Longer if we can. That doesn't happen much these days. Online play, I can go 2 hrs or so, but it's not the same level of enjoyment. The table is where it's at.

#RPGaDay2024: Day 21: Classic Campaigns? I am a homebrew guy. I don't do modules or campaign settings. But I did run Dragonlance the Summer of '84 & again in the Fall of '87. It was a thrilling adventure that still resonates with me & those who played it all these decades later.

#RPGaDay2024: Day 20: Adventure? The first thing that popped into my head for today's prompt was 1984's Raiders of the Lost Ark from TSR. If Adventure has a name, it's Indiana Jones. A fun game, with unlimited potential, that never reached the heights it could have.
