I think this is the one case when callbacks are guaranteed to never get you in to trouble :) #rubyhack

@yukihiro_matz ruby limits and memory bound GC in Ruby 3! “Ruby vm is fast enough, the bottleneck is memory.” #rubyhack #matz

Great getting to know the other presenters that will be speaking at the #RubyHack conference this week. Should be a great event!

I am a HUGE fan of road maps for talks! It helps ground the audience so they know where they are within your talk. #rubyhack

Thrilled that Matz @yukihiro_matz stopped by the @ScoutAPM table at #RubyHack - he got a handsome tshirt, and you can too at try.ScoutApp.com/RubyHack

Excellent breakdown of pros and cons of service objects! #rubyhack One missing pro: Not tied to every db event.

.@KellySutton offering some great advice on how to break up a monolith WITHOUT micro services 😱 #rubyhack

@kappelcodesalot: "They said my talk didn't need to be coding related so I am going to teach you how to level up your pinball skills!" 😂 #rubyhack BEST lightening talk of the day!!!

1/7 "I realized I needed to take a step back and enable the people around me, I needed to clear their path" - @Ferdy89 killing his talk on mentoring. Read on for some inspiring tidbits from it! #rubyhack #CodeNewbie

#RubyHACK @utrubyhack it was in Salt Lake City too at one of the local college campuses.
#RubyConf, #RailsConf, #RubyHACK (@utrubyhack) all were fantastic!!! Very welcoming, the nicest people I have ever met. @utrubyhack is a small 300 person single track 2 day conference. Great first one if a lot of people overwhelm you #CodeNewbie
"For those who have ever had a bug come across their desk that has to do with bad data, you know how terrifying those are" - @NelsonWittwer's @utrubyhack talk on Lifecycle Events offers some great alternatives to AR callbacks #rubyhack youtu.be/cgneN2ISuGY
A few folks chatted with me after my talk at #rubyhack on proper #Rails Engines usage. A few folks loved engines, while a few folks despised them. We came up with the following 3 checks for your team. Hope this helps! kellysutton.com/2019/04/08/3-b…
By far my favorite quote from #rubyhack last week! 🤗 #CodeNewbie
3/7 "Mentoring should be a habit, not a checkbox that you check off" - @Ferdy89
@Ferdy89 @clearcover Our very own, Fernando Seror, presenting at UT #rubyhack last week. Sounds like it was a terrific conference. I can’t wait to watch his talk, “The Way of the Mentor”.
@utrubyhack was a really amazing event! I met a lot of amazing and super talented people and learned a lot about Ruby and software development. #rubyhack
Just had an amazing two days at #rubyhack, thanks to all the speakers and especially the @utrubyhack organizers for an incredible conference.
Thank you to everyone who hung out with me at #rubyhack, great times. Looking forward to seeing some of you at #railsconf in a few weeks.
Thank you @keystonelemur for your magical closing talk at #RubyHACK - I love all the facets of the Ruby community - and it is so fun to see the artistic side shine
Big thanks to everyone that put on #rubyhack, and thanks for inviting me to speak! I had a blast, looking forward to next year.
