Managed to shrink the binary almost 4 times by rewriting it in assembly #vccc2024 I totally wasted the whole day today, but I feel fulfilled 😂
I am success! I finally sorted out my entry for #VCCC2024 in Assembly. The rules say we can't reveal how small I managed to do it (not that small), but I'm pretty happy with my approach. #commodore #c64
Having fun trying to get my #c64 assembly entry for the #vccc2024 as small as possible. Very enjoyable. Rules here: logiker.com/Vintage-Comput…
I've submitted my entry in #vccc2024 Christmas challenge. It was fun, but I doubt I've made the smallest code😄👨🏻💻
Ready for another Christmas Challenge? What do you think? #vccc2024 #sizecoding #vintage #retrocomputing #challenge #BASIC #APL #C #CodingChallenge #commodore #Atari #assembly #c64 #amstrad
I just submitted my #VCCC2024 entry. Developed 100% on "real" hardware. I concentrated on having fun with this one, which is the point.
Ok, that's officially the nerdiest thing I've done. Completing the challenge for #vccc2024 in P-LISP from 1981 on #apple2 #lisp
The result of the #vccc2024 challenge in #Emacs elisp. Essentially this should run on very old machine 😂 This is getting too weird after the 6502 assembly and cc65 clang.
Okay, my #vccc2024 machine of choice is my PET 2001. I'm already making progress. One rule is that you can't show the code until it's over. So all I can do is show the shape drawn without getting in trouble ;-) No way to capture on my PET (is there an easy way?) so reflections…
Once again, this year I participated in @Logiker464's Christmas contest 🎅, #VCCC2024. Here is my 100-byte assembler version for PCXT
Going further with #vccc2024 challenge, I decided to do it in #elisp as well. That's the oldest #emacs I could find and run - version 18.55 from 1991 for ms-dos.
OK.. thats my #vccc2024 entry submitted. And of course I used the humble Aquarius 👍 😎 Rules state that I cant show my code... but here is the output. Always enjoy these challenges!!
Alert! Excitement to see the other #vccc2024 entries reaching critical levels 😅 logiker.com/Vintage-Comput…
Here’s my entry for this year’s Vintage Computing Christmas Challenge: An Amiga alert in 64 bytes of code! #vccc2024 heckmeck.de/demoscene/gesc…
3 weeks after sending in my solution I finally found a few bytes that I could cut off. So time to alter my entry for the #vccc2024. 3 WEEKS to find 2 bytes!
Spent hours to find out recursion is not working (yet???) #vccc2024

2022: 1 2023: 2

I spent too much time again today to improve my code but it is stable for the last 13 days...... Even my latest trick is not working. #vccc2024
