#vmscluster search results
I've added the #AlphaServer DS10 to my #VMScluster, but forming the cluster over Ethernet is really slow. At first I thought it was a network problem, so I connected all the nodes to the MultiSwitch Hub 612TX (basically a hub), but it can take up to 20 minutes to form the cluster…
My #VAXcluster is now a #VMScluster. Mixed #VAX and #Alpha architecture with two VAX 4000 and two #AlphaServer 800 with an Enterprise Storage Array. #OpenVMS 6.1 is mixed with #OpenVMS 7.3 (which is not officially supported).
With the two #AlphaServer 800s in the #VMScluster, I can remove the quorum disk from the #VAX and change the (expected) votes in #OpenVMS.
A really nice collection of machines. Actually the right stuff to set up a mixed-architecture #OpenVMS #VMScluster.
Whatchin the ol Hermanator listening to his room situation being deciphered. #vmscluster
