Prepping to teach my first ever maths lesson tomorrow. Nervous doesn’t cover it!
Here's the alternative way I suggested of solving that Discovering Mathematics problem. This method 'speaks' to me far more than substituting in numbers. The values of the rods are unimportant except W repesents 1 and the problem states that m and n are positive integers.
