Used @Desmos Polygraphs for the first time with students today. Not only is it their favorite Desmos activity that we've done so far, but it really got them using the vocabulary from the lesson! I can't wait to do more of those.

Introduced Ss to the @Desmos calculator today. The instructions: Make a picture using lines. It was a great way for them to have choice. I could see the wheels turning on slope, intercept, translations, domain, inequalities, and connections between representations!
Kids need to see adults: - Reading books - Working hard - Taking care of themselves - Making mistakes - Learning from mistakes - Being happy - Being sad - Helping others - Standing up - Voting - Playing - Being silly - Being serious - Being scared - Being brave - Being kind

I'm trying desperately to get my physics students to get comfortable with scientific inquiry and creating hypotheses, so today we listened to a (censored) excerpt from @FuzzyLogicPod. Then we did our own spitballing answers and researching corrections just like the podcast!
Got some student choice going on in our Do Now and in our practice (not pictured). Students could pick a difficulty level that worked for them, and they have a few different processes they can use to do the work.
