I have a story in TAL this week. Working on it entirely transformed my view of love. I cried making it. Actually I cried a couple times making it. But I also laughed my ass off and got butterflies in my stomach
"The Coldest Case in Laramie" starts off as straight true crime but reveals itself to be an exploration of the fallibility of memory, the stories we tell ourselves, and how this all intersects with the criminal justice system. Amazing work by @Kim_Barker. nytimes.com/2023/02/16/pod…

i hope it’s possible to mourn this and also be very excited for Sam and Rob. Transom radically altered what I thought was possible for my life and I’m so glad it existed.
We have decided not to continue the 9-week Woods Hole Transom Story Workshops. They were always a labor of love and Rob and Sam were very much at their heart. So, we all move on to new adventures. Stay tuned. 13/16
