If you listen you can hear the eternal song of the universe. Singing out: 🎶 Never gonna give you up Never gonna let you down Never gonna run around and desert you We can tune into this at anytime. Drinking deeply the sweet succor of our simple being. Our very molecules dancing

In the Christian frame the cross✝️is what it costs love to go all the way and bring us home If you want to reach someone drowning you have to get in the water. That cost taking on the cold, the danger, & weight. That's the cross . God gets in the water, all the way in and pulls

It’s so easy these days to root our identities in ideas… perhaps especially so today. I think this speaks to how utterly insanity the materialist frame can be in regards to human being. It leaves so much unaccounted for. Unnamed but not unfelt.

I tend not to post political stuff.. I see it, I have feelings and opinions… however the current landscape is a mockery of actual political discourse. This is all kayfabe (Google that). There are bad actors who realize they coral and galvanize people through inflaming discontent

Nothing that the mind can conceive of is ultimately and finally true. I say this not to devalue the mind and rather to properly evaluate it. When this is seen clearly there’s no need to reject the mind, or “kill the ego” All that is “needed” is to be informed by this clarity.

Conservative and liberal, left and right are horrible lenses or frameworks to consider other people through.. so much nuance is lost.

A core aspect of my self awareness is not hosted in my cognition. I’ve noticed lately this can have a sort of grounding effect for mental and emotional energy that can build through narratives and thoughts.

In Christ I am coming to know my own beloved-ness. Which largely seems to be despite me… in fact it has little to do with me and more with who’s beholding me. We know beauty is in the eye of the beholder. In coming to see that I’ve found my own parameters for beauty expanded.

Can you see space? We “know” what space is but can it be seen? How are you aware of space?

If you’re going to be a mystic then it helps to understand and appreciate mystery. To see mystery not as something to finally be known or understood, but as an endless horizon ever receding from your approach. Mystery is endlessly knowable, ever revealing more…

Curious to know more about my mutuals.. Say hi or something lol

If God is the source of all life, then anyone who is truly living and seeking truth is already interacting with Him, whether they use my vocabulary or not. I'm not interested in who is wrong. I'm interested in the Light that allows us all to see.

The language of Christianity has been colonized by particularity, what is cosmic and universal tends to sound tribal and exclusive. This trips me up when talking about this stuff. I want to talk about unmitigate human being, and the divine intimacy of fundamental reality.

Jesus isn't just a person. He is the way the truth and the light. He is the light by which our very lifetimes are illuminated and known Christ is cosmic more akin to a metaphysical principle rather than a religious membership card

The mystical heart of Christianity is less about drawing boundaries and more about revealing intimacy. When Jesus say's he is the way, he's speaking to the way that Love moves. He is pointing to a state of being that exists prior to the "tribal" self.

I often get the sense that what we're seeing is ideaologies fighting through human being. We have essentially been possesed by ideas and they are battling it out through us. It has a very unconcious energy.

Unconditional love does not mean unconditional endorsement. Love can firmly refuse, correct, protect, and confront when necessary. The "unconditional" part refers to the underlying regard or commitment to a person's intrinsic worth.
