I've recently considered the role of rough consensus in computer science given the power and gravitas these things now have and we might need a more democratic process moving forward that is more inclusive. This is possibly the root cause of current interference in tech.

I really hope mockery can align AI, in that case we’re saved.

I shouldn’t be surprised by the amount of personal abuse being thrown at those of us who support the Yes Vote, but I am. Racist, ableist, body-shaming…all of it. Just for supporting a voice. Perhaps it’s happening on both sides. It’s not gonna stop me though.

We must be careful not to believe things simply because we want them to be true. No one can fool you as easily as you can fool yourself.

I live in a country with “socialist” healthcare, when we get sick we don’t worry about being bankrupted. People do not choose to be I’ll so why is it a business opportunity in America? Are Americans happy that a few people enrich themselves as a result of people’s misfortune?

This is true. hubermanlab.com/what-alcohol-d… Two drinks a week seems like the upper limit beyond which health issues eventually start to surface. Which is not to say that some people can’t get away with more provided they do a bunch of other things right and perhaps also pick the right…

For decades, scientific studies suggested moderate drinking was better for most people’s health than not drinking at all. A new analysis of more than 40 years of research has concluded that many of those studies were flawed and that the opposite is true. nyti.ms/3MdbFKF

I’ve never understood why more founders don’t do extensive user research pre-raise!!!🤦‍♀️ In my social entrepreneurship studies, everything was rooted in human-centered design Before taking so much risk/spending so much time on something, plz get to know your potential customers!

💥 Hot take! Because emerging VC funds have a higher likelihood of outperforming emerged/legacy funds, the person who has good relationships with every emerging fund will by default have the best deal flow 🤷‍♀️

Implanted brain machine interfaces are still in their infancy and require ~a decade at minimum of multicentre clinical trials to ensure that they are safe and effective for use in human patients. Also, we still know so little about the biological computer between our ears.

Great to see #neurofeedback being brought into the mainstream through #iBraintech neurofeedback training in UK #elite #sports! Want to try our headset out for sports performance improvement in 2023 @theAIS? Perhaps E-Sports will adopt first? @Auesportsleague @ESLAustralia?

Just listened to @BullpenAU’s interview with iBrainTech and reminded me of this. Arguably the best price of sports performance content ever 👌 (Worth also checking out the podcast too) m.youtube.com/watch?v=4achmh…
