You deserve to laugh. You deserve this thread. Had a hard time not waking up @dudaski with my uncontrollable giggling from a few of these early this morning:

it’s time for another round of: please tell me about a time you laughed so hard you cried. (not from tv/movies/internet. It has to be an IRL situation) Even if it’s an inside joke and you don't think it will be funny to anyone else – i still want to hear it. thank you

Going back to the office after 15 months is weird. Seeing coworkers in person again is great (!) but strange standstill remainders abound: sketches left on my desk, and UX team cup stacking challenge times still on the whiteboard. Also - oops:

Holy crap. Amazing and inspiring read: “On my lonely 11-day hike back to civilization, I made myself a promise,” Dr. Diller said. “I vowed that if I stayed alive, I would devote my life to a meaningful cause that served nature and humanity.”

Things for non-Black people to do on Juneteenth: •buy from Black-owned businesses •support (& donate $$) to Black-led organizations •rethink your institutions’ DEI initiatives & figure out if they’re ACTUALLY helping Black people •learn about the history & teach others

This thread is so lovely. ✨❤️✨ Hoping this becomes more and more the norm and not the exception.

I'd love to read a bunch of personal stories from LGBTQIA folks who had an unexpectedly positive experience with coming out to their parents and what it meant for and to them. I could be wrong, but I suspect such a collection would also be valuable to future parents generally.

When the mop top can no longer be contained within a hat, it’s time to go. RIP pandemic mane + kudos to y’all who can grow your hair out and not look a sweaty shaggy mess.
