Hello again to my new followers: I am Bill and I run @FarthestHeaven, a small press with books of all sizes, all by LIVING authors (or translators). We have four fine books of poetry for you to cozy up to this fall, and a collection of short stories forthcoming (more next week).

A lot of people really dragged the "you'll own nothing and be happy" bit from a few years ago, but really all that means is become nomad.

Oh no the gypsy meeting is so perfect.

The critique I’ve heard of this book is that the last 1/3 is repetitive. The meeting with the Gypsy, etc. I don’t care. Cormac brought me face to face with reality in The Crossing. @tr_hudson

Maybe the best paragraph ever written.

Got me twice now. Second time, construction every bit as perfect: "When he looked at the wolf again she was lying down but when his eyes fell upon her she stood again. The standing horse tossed its head and the bridlebit clinked but she paid no attention to the horse at all. He…

It's Cormac's best standalone book really, he went to a place not many ever reach.

The last paragraph of the book punched me in the gut. “…after a while the right and godmade sun did rise, once again, for all and without distinction.” It remains my favorite of the trilogy. @CSandbatch
