If the west wasn't sending Russia $700 million a day in exchange for oil and gas then they wouldn't be able to afford to invade.
This is where the country goes to the dogs. Rylan is allowed to say plainly untrue statements on a national news show with literally no pushback. Asylum seekers housed in hotels are NOT given phones or ipads. They are not living a life of luxury.
It’s time for wealth taxes. Retweet if you agree 💥
Hi @ArnoldClark if I buy a car with the remainder of the manufacturer's warranty can I return the car if it turns out if it is no longer valid because you didn't service it properly?
The police has mislead the public about events in Whitehall and Trafalgar Square, claiming the Palestine coalition attempted to push through police lines. Our footage shows the truth. WATCH ⬇️(1/6)
There must be an independent investigation. The flimsy reasons for preventing a silent peaceful protest to lay flowers outside the BBC must also be investigated.
The Met Police is shamefully trying to excuse its repressive actions today and violent conduct towards protestors including the Head Steward from @STWuk Chris Nineham. 🧵 👇
The reality is this. As shown in this video at the end of the rally, it was announced from the stage that a delegation including MPs, trade union leaders, the leaders of the Palestine Coalition and cultural figures would walk silently and peacefully towards the BBC to protest at…
Today over 100,000 people rallied in solidarity with the Palestinian people and asserted their right to protest 🇵🇸
This video shows us doing just that and encouraging the crowd that had gathered around us to do the same, which they did, in a disciplined, organised way and return to Trafalgar Square.
We gathered today to mark our shared relief at a ceasefire, our trepidation at the likelihood Israel would violate it and our demands to end all UK complicity with Israel’s 76 year long denial of Palestinian rights.
As the above thread showed, the police invited the delegation to move past them on their mission to lay flowers.
We will not allow the Metropolitan Police to demonise those protesting today, nor distract from our demands for justice for the Palestinian people. #FreePalestine
77 people were arrested at today's protest. There was a coordinated effort led by the protest organisers to march out of Whitehall in a clear breach of the conditions. An investigation into those offences has been launched. Read more details 🔽 news.met.police.uk/news/more-than…
Netanyahu 🇮🇱 is a blood thirsty monster who cannot wait to resume his genocide: “We [Israel 🇮🇱] reserve the right to resume the war” The Hague now Suspend Israel 🇮🇱 from the UN Recognise Palestine 🇵🇸 today.
Disgusted by @metpoliceuk I’ve watched @ChrisNineham lead hundreds of stewards, ensuring peaceful and safe protests for 15 months. Anyone with sense can see this blatant attempt to manufacture a clash between protestors and police.
Keir Starmer has given the green light to the police to go after Jeremy Corbyn. We are in very dangerous waters now. The police, the Labour Government and #BBC working hand in hand to shut down pro-Palestinian support. Welcome to the Starmer fascist state. @metpoliceuk
Are you still with us ? Do you hear us ? Comment with 🇵🇸 if you still stand with us
.@metpoliceuk has promoted a misleading narrative about the events in Whitehall and Trafalgar Square, claiming that a peaceful delegation pushed through police lines in an attempt to justify their repressive actions on Saturday 18 January. This could not be further from the truth…
From the outset the Met sought to ban pro-Palestine demonstrators from peacefully protesting. The crackdown is an attack on freedom of expression & false claims of "forceful" behaviour are dangerous. Charges must be dropped & the government must end this authoritarian exercise.
You either believe in free speech, and freedom of assembly, or you don’t. This is massive state overreach under the Starmer government. Again. Solidarity @jeremycorbyn & @johnmcdonnellMP
