This is literally the reason online pvp games die. Game hasn't even released yet & he's already tryharding to his fullest potential That he's actively on stream, optimising the fun out of it all for everyone else lucky enough to get access who just wanted to play something new
I don't normally call stuff out like this, but this is awful from CBR. No one. NO ONE. Can write THREE reviews of any game in a week. You'd barely have time to play one game in a single week, let alone 3. Whatever reviews they're writing are going to be the lowest of low quality.

Ultimately the most novel thing about Braid was its distribution. That IS the industry now. So going back to the original will always be more interesting than adding Blows commentary for the price of a game that everyone already owns.
I'm a little hesitant to say this again but I will...the big indie success stories of that period were simply competently made games with almost no competition. I dont think any of them would have been successful if they had to release for the first time today...

People crying because they don't release it on Steam. You guys need to know that pretty much every time a game is released in GOG without DRM is because the people behind GOG actually cared for the games preservation and helped with the port of the games. So just support them.

JRPGs should try being 20-30 hour experiences more often than the 40-50+ hours they usually are, especially with how expensive some of these games are getting. Lately, I’ve been finding shorter JRPGs to be just as fulfilling, if not more than super-long experiences.
