My Tech Cert roadmap for the rest of the year is: - Arista ACE L3 (DC Networks) - Azure AZ-700 (Cloud Networking) - Fortinet Certified Associate (Firewall) Next year: - CISSP (#cyber) - Azure AZ-500 (Cloud Security) Not sure what order these will happen in!

As a “traditional” network engineer, I still work very little on or in the cloud. I’ve added some Direct Connect and built a few VPCs but that’s about it. Still finding it all a bit strange. Anyone else like that?

Network engineering feels like a dying trade. How many young people are truly learning how to build, deploy and troubleshoot modern on-prem networks? Most want to learn the basics of networks before then jumping into Cloud or Cybersecurity…it always comes back to bite them!

Truth be told…the last time I got a tech cert was at least 10 years ago when I did my #CCNP I always thought I would go on to do the CCIE but I always found a reason not to.. Over the next 12 months I will be pouring myself into exams in #Cloud and #Cybersecurity & #Networking

Last year I spent a lot of time building DC Networks using BGP EVPN on #arista Decided to purchase the self-paced training and now I have to pass the exam 😂
