Microsoft just killed the GPU mafia! 🤯 They've open-sourced bitnet.cpp, a blazing-fast 1-bit LLM inference framework optimized for CPUs. This is a major step forward for running large models locally, without expensive GPUs or cloud costs. Demo app + repo + paper in 🧵 ↓

AI agents being able to run unit tests is SUCH a massive unlock. If you're a dev who has utilized unit tests heavily: using a tool like Claude Code makes so much sense. And if you don't yet use tests: with AI agents, don't see how you would not do it sooner or later...

This is how I feel about vibe coding. Any project I try that has any kind of complication has this immediate burst of progress. Things are amazing and it feels like a superpower. Then... as I add more complexity, things crash to a halt. The only projects that I think I can…

The older you get, the more you value "boring" things: · Eating similar meals · Taking walks outside · Going to bed on time · Getting a bit of exercise daily You realize you don't need to be constantly entertained to live a good life.

One thing my healed self will never understand is why people insist “pathological obsession w winning/money/doing” == good founder. Startups are businesses, but we treat them like zodiac signs. Guy’s probably not gonna die wishing he raised more seed rounds.

This weekend I met a guy who exited his company around 2010, made $200M and retired (mid 30s). 15 years later, he’s still retired and happy doing nothing. Total head scratcher to me and goes against all the patterns and beliefs I have about founders 🤷🏼‍♀️
