Treated myself to a 1st class train to ticket to Peterborough, then London recently. The @LNER train was exemplary - punctual, clean and excellent service. The @AvantiWestCoast train back to Glasgow was worse than dismal. Awful. Zero service and no interest in customers!
ALL the big companies are over-charging routinely these days. Simply because they can. There’s nothing to stop them now, and they don’t care about ‘customers’ either.
The facts banks are only fully passing rate rises on to borrowers not savers is counterproductive and profiteering. Encouraging saving, takes money out of the economy to help inflation too. Govt should be pushing hard to ensure banks don't just increase margins

Many people still get confused by fundamental physics. That’s because they’re simply missing the basics. For example the relation dE/dc = 2mc is really only true for low energy physics. The full, relativistic relation reads dE/dc = 0
Like most big companies these days, @IHGhotels don’t give a shit about their customers. As long as they’re raking in the profits… I’ll avoid all their establishments in future.

I was booked to attend the BMLA conference recently in the @vocohotels St David, Cardiff. Unfortunately the train strike scuppered my travel plans, yet the hotel refuses to refund my room rate of £160. Hardly fair, is it?
Cancelled my car insurance with @TheAA_UK. I was owed £64 as a refund. They sent me a cheque!! A cheque!! I paid by card. Why didn’t they refund my card? Because I might not deposit the cheque. They know that. Very cynical… #disgusted
