Well, good luck tomorrow for everyone going back. I think this term can be exhausting, so go steady. But tomorrow should be good: it’s a full moon tonight, there have been fireworks all weekend, it is forecast to be windy and possibly rain. So it should be just, fucking, ace.

I can say from my current situation, being in the ‘window’ with a new framework is causing added pressure. I am calm about it and fairly easy going but the change has added workload. You can’t get away from that.
What a week! Highlights of course been about chn. One of our kids came 1st at cross country comp and I took great pleasure in grabbing a rugby ball off a Y6 child and booting it for it to hit a parasol pole on the playground! 👊 Guinea pigs due in two weeks…chn super excited!

Driving to school this morning…usually it’s just a scatty pigeon so imagine my excitement! The rest of the day was less flamboyant.

So, I’m calling the scorecard outcome now. OFSTED will ignore criticism & proceed with the colour chart thing. They’ll justify its implementation as what parents want in order to choose a school. When in fact very few get a choice & if they do, OFSTED plays little part in it.
A pretty sobering message but one we all should heed. Work isn't everything, it's really important but not the most important thing.
Love this fuck up from Ofsted. Just 'give the nod' to inclusion...brilliant. Just about sums it up.
