The VC ecosystem is trying to domesticate animals that can never be tamed to profitability … they are sold as semi-domesticated wild beasts that, at best, have a slim chance of being helpful to their future masters … and most times, they will disappoint their future masters.
Ideas are forces of nature; they are wild animals. Startups are systems that domesticate them; not all animals can be domesticated. Humans, in their entirety, have only been able to domesticate a small minority of animals.
We’re increasingly heading towards the space of not knowing what to do and not knowing how to do it. The problem that emerges from this space is what we solve as entrepreneurs.
Quality of Learning is highest in doing, next in teaching, and the worst in accepting. Expert-based learning makes you accept stuff, surrendering to the rules of thumb. It’s the quickest form of charging… but the charge often does not hold sustainable value.

Companies are like domesticating animals … not all animals can be domesticated … does not make sense to domesticate an animal that: eats other animals, eats a lot before producing, or is hard to train and control.
