SimpleResults released 🚀 🍰 SimpleResults is a simple library that serves as a sample on how to implement the Result pattern in NET. Support for translating the result object to HTTP status code for both MVC controllers & Minimal APIs. hubs.li/Q02k306Z0 #dotnet #csharp
Nice to see my message getting wide support!
I’m a #dotnet developer. But I feel like it’s time to add a new language to my toolbox (for backend development). What would you suggest me to learn? My main focus is API development. I work in Windows, with Visual Studio + VS Code
C# and the framework are basically one - for better/worse. Idisposable, ienunerator, tasks are all part of framework and core to c#. Also the point extends to the language. Keep 1 version of switch, drop at least 1 way of doing delegates. Simplify based on what is latest.
You have a fan @DotNetIsCSharp

"By definition it won't cause a regression in existing code" because of course #dotnet == #csharp. Nice to see a .NET runtime developer agree with this account 👍
Remember folks, #dotnet is spelt C-S-H-A-R-P

Well done to @playwrightweb 👍

I've been looking into @playwrightweb and it's only been 1 day since I realized they have an awesome browser-based sandbox to "try" it out in, with great code examples - in 4 languages (Python, Java, JS, .NET). "Play" in the sandbox get it? Never mind. 😄 try.playwright.tech

C# - 50 mentions F# - 0 mentions VB - 0 mentions Awesome work! 👍👍👍👍
Our campaign is success, Microsoft have dropped F# from next big .NET release - no talk about it here, so it is dead! This is first step to end evil of functional programming! Let's make it happen together @DotNetIsCSharp ! #csharp #dotnet
Me watching seasoned .NET developers look at top level statements #dotnet
We're making lots of progress on the minimal API experience in .NET 6. Lots of features are finally coming together. #dotnet

Our fiendish plan is working!👍
I know it shouldn't, but it frustrates me time and again to see content ostensibly about .NET that actually is about C#. Nothing against that, but it's annoying when I get excited to read up on new features but am constantly disappointed that literally none of it applies.
Honored to be tagged in this tweet 👍
