OK so we already knew that we’ve got the best department but it was lovely to see Physics and Astronomy recognised at the Teaching Awards 2019 last night, winning the award for ‘Best Subject’ (along with Renewable Energy)!
Are you a student studying a course within CEMPS? If so, come along to the “Big Rep Meeting” next Monday (25th March), 11:30am-1:30pm, where you’ll be able to discuss and feedback with other students/AcReps what the main issues impacting your academic experience are!

The application process has started for iGEM 2019 - It is a fantastic opportunity to do a biophysics project over the summer, and the Physics students who did this last year reported having an amazing time showing off the project in Boston!

Want to make positive changes in your department? Stand for Physics Year 1 Physics Rep! You will be able represent your year group and deliver student feedback directly to senior staff members, and attend sslc!

Don't forget to sign up for student conference, deadline approach. It'll only take a few minutes out of revision and is so so worth it!!
