In our studies, we've associated the release of these (but not limited to) biomarkers with vascular shear stress. One big biomarker not shown is Vascular Endothelial Growth Factor (VEGF) which promotes angiogenesis.

Just some food for thought: if rapid compression yields better results for venous ulcers, would it do the same for other tissues? Ie muscle tissue? I think so... medsolsupplier.com/evaluation-of-…
