How about being able to fix bugs or deliver new features without releasing new version of your app? Less pain with revisions with Apple/Google + greater agility in solving issues. That's why I created bit.ly/sd-ui, a library developed to use the ServerDrivenUI concept

@TheCodeTraveler I tested @GitTrendsApp on an old Huawei phone with Kirin 650 cpu the app runs smoothly without any jittery. Are you using collectionview or Listview?
