Being productive means, at its core, getting work done. It also means doing things in the most efficient manner.
But, once again, to find out what will help most with productivity you often need to experiment.
As it relates to productivity (and in life), so key to be a good listener, an "active" listener.
And your energy levels being up increasing will increase your productivity. That may mean coffee or tea for you.
Location is a great tip with productivity. Ask yourself, do you get more/better work done at Starbucks, the library, at home, office, etc.?
And other multitasking is OK. For instance, listening to a book on tape while working out. Depending on the material & your ability to learn
Multitask at the gym between rep. Use that time to check your emails, social media, read a magazine, etc.
Commercials are a big waste of time. Consider utilizing that time instead of actually watching them.
And while it's important to be productive, sometimes you need to also just relax and unwind.
Focus, focus, focus. For maximum productivity.
To be more productive, you may need to wake up earlier and thus get less sleep.
Social media is a big productivity suck. Consider minimizing it, as such.
But the key thing is to absorb what is useful and reject what is not.
the ironic thing about productivity is that to try new things you may have to use time that may not be worth it in the end.
At the same time, make time to try new things.
