After bringing home the Ryugu sample, the Hayabusa2 spacecraft left to seek asteroid 1998 KY26. The asteroid was known to be much smaller that Ryugu, but new observations suggest it might three times smaller than expected & rotate twice as fast! Our Hayabusa2# team weigh in (🧵)
