Try doing strides on the weave We normally do a prescribed distance, time, and # of reps in straight line on stride days Once the kids are comfortable hitting their paces and look good, we switch to the weave Still times out to a rep every minute with a 40 yd walk between reps

Here’s a few cross-country boys and girls from this morning. By this point, they’ve already ran with cross country and with our regular summer program. Don’t be scared to get strong, kids. None of these kids have ever not gotten a medal at State, by the way.

Brand new weight room, same old attention to detail. This is the first time most of these 36 6th grade boys have ever touched a barbell. Plenty to fix, plenty to be proud of, and plenty of time to get really, really good. HERO!!!!!
Special group of dudes!!!
This was our current 8th graders two years ago. These dudes haven’t lost a single competition in junior high. Undefeated district champs in football, basketball, track, and cross country. They look so tiny!!! 🤣🤣
