At today’s @WhiteHouse Methane Summit, @NASA’s EMIT instrument aboard the @Space_Station that measures methane was discussed. It's one way NASA helps support @POTUS’ Investing in America agenda to create more good-paying jobs, strengthen ingenuity, and protect public health.
Awesome EMIT intern, Vivian Shay from @stanforddoerr, talking about the great work she's doing in her @NASAJPL internship this summer!
It’s #NationalInternDay! We’d like to celebrate and recognize our #JPLinterns for their work to #DareMightyThings together on our missions. We asked some of our interns to tell us in their own words about what they’ve been working on at the Lab. #NASAJPL #LifeatJPL
Such an honor to represent EMIT at this event!
In addition to remarks from leaders and innovators, the White House Methane Summit featured a technology showcase highlighting the advances in climate pollution detection from NASA and other federal agencies, non-profits, and the private sector. earth.jpl.nasa.gov/data/data-port…
Join us to learn how to access and use imaging spectroscopy data from the EMIT mission - so much exciting science to do and applications to explore! #LPDAAC @NASAJPL @afriesz @davidray @pgbrodrick

This is an amazing campaign to connect remote sensing and field measurements of biodiversity: climate.nasa.gov/news/3157/cali… Thank you @KD_Chadwick for leading and training us in the field, and @RyanPavlick for coordinating the flights. I have the pleasure to contribute to both! 😍🌱🛩
We're lucky to be participating in this important @SBG cal/val campaign. Thanks @NASAJPL for the opportunity! The Surface Biology and Geology High-Frequency Time Series, or SHIFT, campaign collects data to understand diverse land and aquatic ecosystems. climate.nasa.gov/news/3157/cali…
One step closer to launch 🚀 EMIT, or the Earth Surface Mineral Dust Source Investigation, recently left JPL and traveled to Kennedy Space Center at Cape Canaveral, Florida – and team members gathered to bid it farewell.
Check out this awesome opportunity with great people at @NEON_sci!

We're looking for a postdoc to join our team at @NASAJPL to support this effort. Imaging spectroscopy is inherently interdisciplinary, and we encourage applications from folks of all backgrounds. See the posting here, or DM me with questions citjpl.wd5.myworkdayjobs.com/Jobs/job/JPL-C…
New paper!! So excited that our research showing woody plants use bedrock water across the US is now published in @Nature! It was so wonderful working with this amazing group of researchers, like @KD_Chadwick, @HtuneOh, @DavidDralle, Jesse Hahm, and Daniella Rempe!
Out this week, great work led by the awesome @McCormickEricaL in @Nature showing that woody plants across the US rely on bedrock water, particularly in my native state of CA. Super important water source, especially in increasingly drought prone areas. nature.com/articles/s4158…
