I want to share a thread about an approach that I’ve been using to mentor people in my lab with the goal of developing “expert learners” in the research environment.
We're accepting applications from undergraduates interested in conducting hands-on scientific research this summer! The 10-week Perrigo summer research fellowship is open to undergraduate students from across the state of Michigan. Apply at: myumi.ch/lsi-perrigo
Running these tests and analyzing the data, it’s been hard to even wrap my brain around what I’m seeing. We detected the very first omicron specimens in WA two weeks ago. And now omicron is over 50% of our cases. It’s … horrifying.
SGTF update from @UWVirology 12/18 We are now at >50% likely Omicron for samples from WA.
We have a new Dicty development video on our website dictybase.org/Multimedia/dev… thanks to Marko Kaksonen a colleague of Thierry Soldati.
Thanks @TrendsMicrobiol for the thread!
