Week 3!🎨#Blocktober We are heading to the Factory side of Kraken Awakes. This is where we held the bonus target to kill! The map is split in to 3 lanes and the player can head for the side objects (Dockyard / Factory) or go head first into the main objective (Huge Ship). 2 GIFs!
This area is round the back of Factory. There is a secondary starting area to the right so we are making sure that there is a lot going on here too even though it's at the back of the map! It had to be interesting from whichever space you start from! #Blocktober

#Blocktober - Day 14 - Another #blockout from @ShowgunnersGame! This one was codenamed LC06_MB_Stronghold and was set in the fun Megablock district, making its appearance quite early in the game. #leveldesign #gamedev


Day 15 of #Blocktober - Just like the previous one, LC08_MB_HQ was set for the @ShowgunnersGame Megablock district. This one however not only introduced a new enemy type, it also concluded the season's chapter. Got some strong inspirations from the #Dredd movie. #leveldesign


A little #leveldesign tip for all who are doing great work for #Blocktober is to make sure to work on your composition, and clearly highlight that of routes/opening/goals so when the player explores your level they know what options/goals are ahead #gamedev #PhantomLiberty

A second look at the Dockyard in Kraken Awakes! We made sure that he giant ship in the middle is visible at points throughout the level so that the player could orientate themselves around the map. Another good little #gamedev tip and another addition to #Blocktober ! 🐙
#Blocktober Week 2! Kicking it off with the Dockyard in Kraken Awakes for #SniperElite! I worked on the art for this area and it was great taking the design blockout and side-missions in to final arted areas! I always enjoyed sniping across the multiple dock "arms"!😃
