Water company bosses have pocketed millions in bonuses while ruining our rivers with filthy sewage. This scandal needs to end. We need to scrap Ofwat and end all sewage dumping in bathing waters by 2030.
This @UKLabour government is so timid. They can reduce sewage leaks by 50% by 2030. With a huge majority??? Can't they do better than that?
No complaints from me about that Keir. But do stay on top of the money situation. We are in a terrifying amount of debt as it is.

I campaigned for @cllrmikeross in a poorer part of Woodmansey, near Beverley. Quite a few unhappy voters mentioned the @UKLabour government’s winter fuel payment cuts. It has been a disaster for Starmer’s government.
If that is where there is currently dereliction then I think it is great.

Disappointing result for the Lib Dems in the Hull and East Yorkshire mayoral elections. Overall though we succeeded beyond our wildest dreams. In local government we are replacing @UKLabour as the progressive opposition.
