Thanks @ImmunityCP for featuring our article ! Such an honor !
I am hiring a computational scientist to join the The Precision Immunology & Microbiome Medicine Laboratory at UPenn! If you have an interest in #multiOMIC analysis & integration of #microbiome, metabolome & immune profiling data, apply here wd1.myworkdaysite.com/en-US/recruiti… Please RT 🙏🏿
I agree, dont pick people for talks, awards, or positions to check an identity box. However, I strongly believe you can have a diverse representation of speakers without sacrificing merit. In fact, if the speaker list is homogenous, you have likely sacrificed merit.
3/4 Selecting speakers based on identity politics instead of merit will greatly reduce the quality of any conference. I’ve known @kurtilaszlo for years. He loves his students, is very well respected in the field, and is one of the fairest and most honest people I know.

What a privilege it has been to contribute to this work! Really elegant story about a type of Dendritic cell that coordinates neonatal tolerance towards commensal bacteria by @AntoninWeckel and @ScharschmidtLab
It's out! Very excited to share my postdoctoral work published in Immunity on dendritic cells, skin commensals and the neonatal establishment of tolerance. #CD301B @ScharschmidtLab authors.elsevier.com/c/1gtA43qNrUu3… Detailed summary in a thread 1/9
Great science and generous mentor!! Postdoc job alert 🚨
The O'Leary lab is up and running at the University of Wisconsin - Madison! We're studying crosstalk among epithelial cells, immune cells, and the microbiome with a focus on the role of tuft cells and all things biliary. Plus, I'm hiring a postdoc!
📣 We've moved and we're hiring!! 📣 The Sanchez lab is now @UTD_Biology! While a part of our heart will forever be in San Francisco, we are in the process of settling into our new lab home in Dallas. Excited to continue our research, & expand our team! Please RT & share!
Very sad with loss of one of the best immunologists, Dr. Emil Unanue. He had built our immunology program as a chair for 20 years and has been a great scientist, mentor and colleague. Fortunate to be a part of the program. RIP. @WUSTLImmuno @wusm_pathology @WUSTLmed @LaskerFDN
