Students and teachers have been working SOOO hard the past 1 1/2 weeks! I was in awe at this 4th grade assignment today! Look at the activities our students get to do remotely! They were all so excited too! #ctreg14 #4thgrade #wegotthis

I surveyed parents and students to get their thoughts on our first week of #DistanceLearning. I HIGHLY recommend it! This data is already driving my instruction for next week.👍🏼 #SVUSDshines #weareDelCerro @SVUSDSchools

I've been doing a lot of reading about tips for most effective #distancelearning. Something I read & am now doing is creating "Week at a Glance" docs with weekly plans & any links to assignments. It helps stay organized and you can send the doc to families. What tips do you have?

Today I talked/emailed with many teachers/curriculum folks from schools across the country. Reality of extended school cancellations sinking in. Everyone thinking hard about direct instruction & not just teaching videos. I think it's imperative. Need help?gregtangmath.com/virtual
