I’d like to offer 3 other places besides Eugene that would absolutely have an average attendance much higher than 7,419 people Just because Nike/Oregon bankrolls USATF doesn’t mean we need to keep hosting big meets in a small city in the most remote corner of the country
Since 2001, the average daily attendance for USA Track and Field Outdoor Championships in Eugene is 7,419 (including the 2022 COVID dip). Everywhere else? 7,410 Based on the data that USATF has, there’s no compelling reason to have USAs anywhere else but Eugene.

Taking my girl to NYC soon (she’s never been) and debating whether to drive and park (feels like easier/more fun minus the parking) or drive to DC, park and take the train. Train is a much longer trip but is finding a parking spot in NYC still an expensive PITA?

The vast majority of professional distance runners and coaches are ethical and believe in lifetime bans for positive drug tests. The vast majority of agents are ethical and would never think of helping an athlete obtain PEDs Agents and Coaches should be banned for a 2nd offense.
