We’re about five seconds away from Trump reversing on climate change being a hoax.

This is the map of Greenland that matters most. The Arctic is now a highly navigable shipping route, and the gateway to the Western Hemisphere. .@POTUS @realDonaldTrump knows exactly what he’s doing. washingtonpost.com/climate-enviro…

Are you a vocally conservative person? Have you been that way for ten or more years? Imagine your reaction if Obama had said this. That's it, just be honest with yourself.

BIG FLAG: Trump said during his interview with The New York Times that he regretted not ordering the National Guard to seize voting machines in swing states after his loss in the 2020 election. He doubted whether the Guard was "sophisticated enough" to carry out the order…

There’s a lot to like here. Not sure how it would work for the REC, though.

For the past three years I have been thinking quite a bit about what is needed for the ACNA to survive and flourish longterm. Over the past three days I've crafted something of a manifesto. Quixotic perhaps--but I think it spells out what is needed. wilcoxen.substack.com/p/structural-r…

Honest question: Is Bishop Hall dealing with the actual doctrine of Transubstantiation here, or only with popular conceptions of it? My understanding of that doctrine (which I do not hold, to be clear) is that it does not teach that the body of Christ actually gets digested.

Anglican Bishop Joseph Hall (1574-1656) has thoughts on Transubstantiation.

Anglicans visiting the parish of a slightly different kind of Anglican

Looks like this particular parish is dual practice on baptism (they do both infant baptism and baby dedications depending on family preference). I also can’t seem to find any reference to the Eucharist on the website. Definitely on the fringe for an Anglican parish.

Largest parish in ACNA is no longer Christ Church Plano, but now C4SO’s multisite Vintage Church LA in El Segundo and Santa Monica. At 3,000 on an average Sunday, it is legitimate mega church, although that is spread across five services in two locations: vintagechurchla.com

My dream of a Church of Christ/Anglican mashup is getting closer!

Music today at my church was acapella and bro... maybe the Puritans were onto something. It was an absolutely beautiful service.

There is no nation or other entity that babies are in aid of. We don’t ask whether “the nation” or “the economy” would do well with more or fewer people. The nation and the economy serve *people*, not the other way around.

Wild degrowth objection to a baby bonus: "With a significant housing shortage and the growing potential for AI to displace jobs, it’s difficult to justify aggressive federal incentives aimed at fueling population growth" thehill.com/homenews/house…

Bukele is popular *because* El Salvador is not a civically healthy place & has extremely limited options. You should want to avoid a scenario in which anyone wants a Bukele figure.

Glad he said this, but it rings hollow when the Trump Administration is trying to deport Afghan Christians who are here because they want to live out “the right of Christians to declare Christ is King.” thedispatch.com/article/afghan…

Easter celebrates the resurrection of Jesus Christ, the Son of God, the king of kings and lord of all nations. This Holy Week and Easter, I call upon all nations to respect the right of Christians to declare Christ is King.

1/n You cannot simultaneously believe that 1. America should be a Christian nation 2. The state should have the right to violate the church's sanctuary status 3. The government shouldn't be in the business of charity because that's a matter for the church and individuals
