I agree. QM is evidently a description of physics from the point of view of an observer, and I think we won't truly understand it until we have a better understanding of what it means for a physical system to be an observer and have a point of view.

Isn't the combinatorics of music crazy? You'd think all the good melodies would have been used up by now, but still people keep coming up with new ones. I've never been able to get my head around that


If life is plausible in the icy moons of our Solar system then it's plausible in the icy moons of *every* solar system. If we find life on Europa or Enceladus and it doesn't share an ancestor with us, then we'll know there's not just one living world but a trillion trillion.


Is there a YouTube channel like @3blue1brown but for chemistry? I'm not looking for demonstrations but for beautifully animated explanations of what's happening at the molecular level during reactions.
