It was an honor to show our appreciation for Korean War Veterans during the 71st Anniversary of the Korean War Armistice Commemoration at the Capitol.
Last Monday, Chairwoman @RepPattyKim, & the Federation of the Korean American Associations of PA, held an event for the 71st anniversary of the Korean War Armistice to remember the courage and sacrifice of those who fought bravely to defend freedom and democracy!
Lots of progress on Sixth St in HBG. @RepJFleming and I toured LeSean McCoy’s new affordable housing project called JMB Gardens. It’s transforming the neighborhood in so many positive ways! Thank you, Shady!
I’m proud of this #PABudget and all of the investments in our communities. The Camp Hill School District and Harrisburg School District need this money immensely. It will also revitalize our streams and waterways.

Today, I joined @PaHouseDems to welcome Officers Harry Dunn & Aquilino Gonell. These US Capitol police officers bravely defended our democracy during the Jan 6 insurrection. Shamefully, some @PAHouseGOP walked out on these heroes. The stakes this year are high. We won’t forget.
I’ve been an advocate for this since the beginning - it’s time we #RaiseTheWage and protect the dignity of workers across the Commonwealth. It’s nearly one year since the #PaHouse passed a bill to raise the minimum wage - it’s up to the #PASenate to do the right thing.

Last Sunday chairwoman @RepPattyKim, and @RepMadsen joined the Bhutanese Kira Rai Organization of America's Harrisburg Branch at the Grand Ubhauli Sakela festival. The Sakela dance is celebrated by the Kirat community on the full moon during the Udhauli and Ubhauli festivals.
Our AAPI Heritage Month celebration was more than a celebration, as we stood with #MakeUsVisiblePA to advocate for HB 779 and SB 839. Thank you to all of the representatives who stood with us, all the student speakers, and as well as the organizers for making the rally a success
