This exchange had me spitting oot my tea! When presented with the, all too realistic, economic prospectus for Scottish independence, John Swinney’s only response is to accuse people of being ‘gloomy’. This is just fundamentally unserious. You can’t feed starvin weans flags.
I see John Swinney is opposing digital ID. Here’s the Scottish Government’s current policy on this. Approved in 2021 when he was DFM. Does he still back his own policy?

Sad but not surprised to see the SNP rebels vanquished once again. It reinforces my decision to stop banging my head off a brick wall. There is no way the SNP will win the election outright. This strategy is just about maximising their vote so the gravy train can continue.
