It's thanks to this course I got to make my first ASIC designs and is a great overview of the entire process

Tiny proto assembly to do and, just by getting the PnP to handle the standard parts I always have loaded in there, I'll have 24 parts to place rather than over 200... Thank you, little helper :)

Amazing time doing the @tinytapeout workshop at the @hackaday supercon last weekend: got pretty much everyone on the next shuttle in one afternoon, amazing. Thanks to the TAs and hackaday for making it possible, and for everyone who came to play!

If you're already in town for the @hackaday #supercon, there's a little pre-party tonight, check the discord supercon-chat channel. Won't stay toooo late (wanna be prime for the workshop tomorrow) but hope to see you there!

The @hackaday #supercon schedule is up hackaday.io/superconferenc… and I'm getting ready to head down there and see everyone. Still a couple of spots available for the @tinytapeout workshop (design your own ASIC circuit, and get it made!). Join us on friday: eventbrite.com/e/2025-hackada…

Never had such a large contingent of younglings in the @tinytapeout workshops as last weekend: kids like this give me hope in the future! Thanks to @UofT @UWaterloo @IEEEorg, the TAs and everyone who helpded make it happen

Touring bits of Canadia--if anyone's in the Toronto area and looking to chat ASIC, circuits, radio, other cool electrostuff, hit me up

Workshops are all up for @hackaday #supercon 2025. If you want to go from A-Z and design your own ASIC circuit, join me for that: is gonna be fun! There are also other cool ones: I'm particularly curious about the meshtastic stuff... hackaday.com/2025/09/23/202…

We just packed 237 of your projects into our most packed ASIC to date and submitted it for manufacture. Let’s take a look inside…

Have you heard of "Tiny Tapeout" but couldn't afford a submission? Together with Avi Brown and Adam Taylor, American Embedded is PROUD to announce the FIRST EVER "tiny tpot," including 8 FULL sponsorships (analog or digital) for November's shuttle! What's Tiny Tapeout...? 1/x

Want to help build a crowdsourced microcontroller? You're invited to design peripherals (UARTs, timers, synths, etc.) for a @risc_v chip that will be fabbed for real! Take part for free! tinytapeout.com/competitions/r…

Should be an awesome way to get good view on how to build a hardware peripheral to a RISC-V processor, and get a leg up on how to enter your own design

Join me today on the #opensourcesiliconstream to catch up on the latest news and then make a simple quadrature encoder peripheral for the @tinytapeout RISC-V competition! youtube.com/live/2JTFwLVpZ…

Wait: does anyone think "companions" will be *good* for someone? I understand that it's more "emotionally engaging" (i.e. short circuit all that boring, slow, cortex and hop straight into monkeybrain), but ... "address loneliness"? Seems a recipe for a ton of blowback and sad.

Freshly and well documented journey of a classic, a good guide if you want to get into glitching.

Just dropped a blog post on reproducing a known voltage glitching attack to bypass APPROTECT on the nRF52840! 😎 Spent hours soldering & debugging to get it right. Not novel, but a messy journey—check it out: matiassoler.com/posts/approtec…
