Let me explain the problem so you understand why your taxes are so high, your wages so low and your services so bad. In the 1970's about 40% of the money you spent went straight back to Government to fund services and cut taxes. Now due to Privatisation it's about 5%

70 years ago today 🎂 Clement Attlee steps down as Labour leader after 20 years in charge. The Times leads the tributes to the man who would be remembered as being "distressed by the needs of the needy, the poverty of the poor and the lack of opportunity for the many".

Nigel Farage wants to get rid of the NHS and replace it with US Insurance which would be 4x more expensive and worse in every way. Except for the £600bn a year profit for him and his mates.

UK banks, building societies required to get savers NI number, make it easier for HMRC to tax. Won't apply to the same to wealthy receiving income from dividends, share buybacks, bonds, stock market gambles, assets stashed offshore. It is class war. independent.co.uk/money/rachel-r…

I'm a democratic socialist who believes no single human makes themselves, therefore any success by an individual is made by a family, a community, the school system, the health system, team mates and work mates who all get us to whatever place we end up. So we all should share…

Can someone enlighten me on Stan's political views? He's been very vocal lately, but not supporting anyone or anything, except Villa and Oviedo.

You shouldn't ask can we afford Nationalisation, but instead ask can we afford Privatisation? Water costs just £7bn to run in England. But you are charged £16bn. That is £9bn a year extra you pay, next year it will be £10bn, and by 2030 nearly £15bn. It's unaffordable.
