No one doubts their disabilities more than the disabled person themselves. Trust me, we are far, far more likely to lie to ourselves as everything is fine, than we are too admit we’re not… so by the same we say we need help, we're way beyond the point of actually needing it.
Chronically ill people don’t want a diagnosis just because we’re looking for something to be wrong. We want a diagnosis so that we can validated, learn about our illness, figure out how to accommodate ourselves, and maybe find ways to manage it. It’s not a hard concept to grasp.
So, autistic people are more likely to have temperature regulation issues than nonautistic people, and I feel like this isn't talked about enough. (It has to do with the size of the hypothalamus)

Okay lemme tell y'all I am worried about the increasing number of food recalls, especially of cheap or pre-prepared food. This is a disability issue. Too poor to throw out/buy better, too tired to do all the chopping, and too many dietary needs to eat safe.
