A milestone for 🇧🇩! With UNICEF’s support, The Department of Law, University of Chattogram & the Law & Justice Division of Ministry of Law Justice and Parliamentary Affairs have signed an MoU to add the Children Act 2013 to the LL.M curriculum promoting restorative justice.
This morning, the MoU signing between the Department of Law, University of Chattogram & the SARC Project @MoLJPABD, with🤝@UNICEFBD took place at the Faculty Auditorium. The collaboration aims to equip graduates with expertise in child rights, restorative justice, and protection.

With @UNICEF advocacy and support, 29 children arrested over the last week have now been released and returned to their families. At all times, detention of children must be the very last resort and for the shortest possible time.
