SGBV offences are often committed in private and without any witnesses. The lack of evidence hampers the functionality of the justice system.
After 18 months of online meetings, great to see our partners in the Victim Friendly System gathered at the Tredgold court yesterday. Regardless of outcome in a case, a justice system must be sensitive to the survivors it serves #accesstojustice

Recently in Masvingo, @UNICEF through the Child Witness Institute w/ funding by the @GlobalSpotlight held a 2-day training of @JSCZim magistrates on #GBV, VAC, and the use of victim impact statements. Magistrates explored gender norms' link to violence against girls and women.
