I think it’s important to level set here. The reason that “law fare campaign” materialized was because Senate Republicans lacked the courage to convict him after January 6. He should’ve been barred from running for office ever again. People like to leave that part out.

Bashar al-Assad now lives quietly in a luxury tower in Moscow, reportedly addicted to spending long hours playing online video games, according to Die Zeit.
DHS is already under court order to stop the targeting of journalists and use of pepper balls/tear gas. Not clear if this represents a violation of that order but Brockman clearly identifies herself as a journalist and appears not to posing any threat to say the least.
