Just classic Sacramento Kings logic.
Russell Westbrook is unlikely to end up in Sacramento after the Kings were unable to find a landing spot for Malik Monk, per @ChrisBHaynes
Would definitely be a fit in minnesota.
De’Anthony Melton is generating a ton of interest right now on the veteran’s minimum market. After suffering a torn ACL in December with the Warriors, Melton’s length and defensively versatility would be a welcome addition to any contender’s guard rotation.
Im definitely in a panic about our back court. Gotta make a move for a real lead guard option.
We will give you mike conley and donte in exchange for him.
Free agent Nickeil Alexander-Walker has agreed to a four-year, $62 million deal with the Atlanta Hawks, plus a player option and trade kicker, sources tell ESPN. CAA Co-Heads of Basketball Aaron Mintz/Austin Brown and Steven Heumann reached the contract with the Hawks tonight.
Nickeil should've been a focal point of this roster. I really believe that this front office will regret it.
Its not all optimism for me so far though. I think it would be a massive mistake to go into next season with just Ant, Conley, and Rob as your lead guard options. Adding another ball handler option is a must. Conley should not be playing 30 minutes a night at this stage
This team will go as far as guys like Ant, Jaden, Naz, Rob, and Shannon are able to take it. Thats the ceiling for this team. The Randle signing was great, and helps our floor for the near future. And it doesnt hinder our ceiling in the slightest. Bargain deal for a 2nd option.
Im a huge fan of running it back. Continuity definitely matters. OKC and Indy are proof of that. But this is not your prototypical run it back type of scenario. I'd argue that this team has more upside hidden in the shadows than most teams. Our young star just needs stability.
Malik Beasley has displayed elite level lack of judgement since coming into the league.
Tim, now is your time to cook.
The Bulls are expected to listen to trade calls on Ayo Dosunmu this offseason following the acquisition of Isaac Okoro. Dosunmu, who averaged 12.3 points and 4.5 assists per game on 49.2% shooting last season, will be sitting on a $7.5M expiring contract next season.
I think fans should be alot more worried about NAW leaving. Hes a guy that kept non-ant offense afloat for big stretches last season. I think valuing donte over him would be a lapse in judgement. Why are we valuing a guy that hasn't proven to be a fit, over a guy that has?
Nembhard is a fit in Minnesota.
Ryan Nembhard is gaining buzz to go early in the second round tonight. Nembhard turned heads during the pre-draft process as a versatile point guard prospect. The Pacers at No. 38 overall to reunite with his brother, starting guard Andrew, could be a plausible draft scenario.
Watching Ryan Nembhard feed Joan Berenger in the dunker spot, and on lobs during summer league would just make my heart so full..
Alright fine. Give me another Frenchman at 31.
100% all in on the wolves selecting Cedric Coward if hes available at 17. Its often hard to not draft by need. But Coward is simply far too talented to pass up there. In that case I'm more than okay with getting the big and talented wing and sorting it out later.
19 year old PG's rarely play in year one. Especially 19 year old PG's on contending teams. We are in no position to be forfeiting a ball handler without getting a ball handler back in return. The question should be what does Dante and 17 get you in terms of a trade up?
the most controversial/unpopular/possibly sincere draft idea I can offer is to trade 17 & Rob up to get Maluach. Not sure if I'm willing to tweet that one out just yet.
Drafting a point guard at 17 should not at all be an indictment on Dillingham. Mike Conley will be 38 and has had his fair share of injury riddled seasons. How long do you think that guy can last? Hes already a shell of himself. We need to throw darts at ball handlers
