tryptag.org update now done... Now with gene annotations from the latest genome, better links to source data (on BioImage Archive ebi.ac.uk/biostudies/Bio…), fixed missing images, and better cell cycle stage examples (selected using github.com/zephyris/trypt…).
I'm working on some server changes for tryptag.org, you might see missing data (particularly missing images)... But don't worry, it will all be up again soon!
After a hiatus, the discoba lineage-optimised Alphafold2 structure predictions are back up! Get your improved Trypanosoma and Leishmania structure predictions here. Try out the Google Colab iPython notebook (and let me know if you have any problems) colab.research.google.com/github/zephyri…

Sorry tryptag.org tiff downloads aren't working - the server had a hard drive failure. We're looking into it. In the meantime all raw tiff images are available via here zenodo.org/records/7719295 or using github.com/zephyris/trypt….
Thrilled to be part of this exciting project on Leishmania and Crithidia doublet microtubule structures. Thanks to my two amazing PIs @RuiZhangWUSTL @PolinaLishko and our fabulous collaborators @alanbrownhms lab, @Gluenzlab lab, and @Zephyris lab🎉🎉🎉
Another wonderful collaboration with @alanbrownhms lab. The Zhang lab together with @PolinaLishko lab (co-first author @QingweiN) contribute the doublet microtubule structure from Crithidia fasciculata, a model organism that infects mosquitoes. science.org/doi/10.1126/sc…

🧵 Have you heard of leishmaniasis? This neglected tropical disease affects 700,000 to 1 million people each year, mostly in low-income communities. It’s caused by Leishmania parasites, spread by sandflies. It has three main forms ⤵️ [1/6]
