Me, dipping a McDouble into queso while watching “My 600lb Life”: “How could they let themselves get like that?”

My dad and I had lunch at a burger joint on the river front today, and got burgers, fries, and a couple of beers for $42. If we’d gone to McDonald’s and gotten some quarter pounder meals in the drive thru, it’d have been $32. McD being only $10 cheaper than sit down is absurd

A mom at my church asked if I'd be willing to babysit for her because her regular childcare fell through. I don't know her that well and I feel really glad that she felt comfortable asking me and trusting me with her baby!! 🥹
