They’re spooked by the rising autism diagnosis? Wait til they find out how many of us are ✨undiagnosed✨

Recently had my exs’ ex partner contact me to inform me that he’d done the same to her - the things I’d warned her about but I wasn’t believed at the time. My heart breaks for her and is with her. Gentle reminder to believe victim-survivors, please @DrJessTaylor

Self-diagnosed is valid ✨ there’s so many barriers in the way; the mental load, time, money - let people self-diagnose and embrace that part of themselves without having to have it formally in writing #Autism

Do you know what’s a brilliant read? Autists Guide to the Galaxy ⭐️ Full of satire, flipping the script and advice on how to understand allistics Also helped me figure out how to answer one particular question on the ‘tism form 😅 #AutismAwarenessMonth

Undiagnosed autism is everyone thinking you're a complete weirdo Diagnosed autism is telling people you're autistic and everyone being confused because you look "completely normal"

Someone I know had the coil as contraception. The coil perforated and embedded in her bowels. It took two surgery’s to sort it out. How did the coil ever get approved for use? #contraception

I had no idea just how much sensory input I get until I put my ear defenders on today, sat back and my body seemed to sigh and unwind - I had no idea how tensed up my body naturally is until I put them on, I may have never known this about myself otherwise! I’m amazed #autism

This! Yet BS around ‘theory of mind’ exists 🙄

It's literally usually just this phenomenon.
