My new @AOSmithHotWater heat pump water heater has been malfunctioning since February without a persistent error code and needs replacement. They won’t cover labor to replace. Selling a faulty product and won’t back it up.

My lab is hiring a postdoc to work on new TDP-43 biomarkers! Please get in touch and/or retweet!

Another denial from @WellcarePlans and @EvolentHealth, this time an MRI for a patient to make sure they don’t have a brain tumor. Routed around the call system, representative grumbled something about AI, and then cut me off and transferred back to the main phone line.

Great news that the European Commission approved lecanemab today. @GovCanHealth next?

Hi @AbsAntibody, we made a custom antibody request and you keep sending us the wrong antibody. Also no one seems to answer the phone. Could you refund us or send the right antibody? IM me for PO number.

Looks like @WellcarePlans @EvolentHealth decided to deny my patient’s amyloid PET on the basis of Medicare NCDs for MRI and FDG PET. Fraud or incompetence?

What’s New in Alzheimer Disease Treatment

I’m submitting my first R01. Do people prefer reviewing/submitting grants with two aims or three? Almost all R01s I’ve read have three, but @HarvardCatalyst GRASP recommends two. @M_B_Miller

The @MassGenBrigham Alzheimer Therapeutics Program (ATP), our standalone clinic for anti-amyloid (and hopefully other future disease-modifying) therapy has a new website! brighamandwomens.org/neurology/cogn…

Always great to see new amyloid cryoEM structures. However is Fig 6 here supported? Do we know that cored plaques have type I and diffuse plaques have type II? link.springer.com/article/10.100… @yyang_cella @SjorsScheres @MichelGoed
