We have seen Christians justify taking up arms and fighting wars in ways that Jesus does not leave room for. We have seen Christians trade & traffic human bodies across oceans. We have seen Christians build organizations on usury. It does us no good to deny this reality. 2/6
We have over 16 centuries worth of historical data on Christians building/aligning with empires and doing awful things to each other and others. Stop insisting that bad actors are not “real” Christians. Humbly sit with the fact that many real Christians do not follow Jesus. 1/6
