Can't tell you how many Help to Buy leaseholders get in contact with me about their inability to sell or redeem due to Homes England's ever-changing rules. The gov has repeatedly said that it will look into it. Haven't seen too much action on the ground yet

Good Lord - it would appear that this is a govt devised scam on leaseholders. Just noticed that the Chair of HE is from the developer Argent. It is a Conservative party donor... Interesting.

4/4 Will Mr. Gove succeed where Mr. Jenrick failed and #EndOurCladdingScandal? Or will his attention be on placating Conservative backbenchers and, yes, Conservative developer donors over planning reforms? And let us not forget the ongoing disaster that is social housing.
3/4 Ultimately, the decisions to #EndOurCladdingScandal are so large they can only be taken at the centre of government, by the Treasury and the PM. Neither has so far shown much understanding or interest in this problem, instead allowing the Civil Service its own agenda.
1/4 So Michael Gove takes over at MHCLG in #Reshuffle. He is apparently trusted by the PM to take control of the government machine, which will certainly help with the #BuildingSafetyBill, assuming it's not too late to change course.
