The sources of AI training is a deep epistemological problem that society has not remotely reckoned with. In a decade from now “reality/truth/history” will be determined to a significant extent by the content of the training.
Wikipedia is hopelessly biased. An army of left-wing activists maintain the bios and fight reasonable corrections. Magnifying the problem, Wikipedia often appears first in Google search results, and now it’s a trusted source for AI model training. This is a huge problem.

More than 98% of families in this country choose to vaccinate their young children. But now, vaccine policy is being shaped by the small, extreme minority that doesn’t. This decision doesn’t reflect, protect or support families.
